Record the world

You and your definitions. To define is a futile activity because the human communication is limited. It is so, due to the limitation of the human mind which uses “thinking” as its main ability to record. This ability is predefined as causalistic and dualistic. The bidimensional entity cannot comprehend tridimensional space, nor it can define the sphere. Perhaps math is the only instrument we have to glimpse into the shadow. Numbers, to be precise, these help us dwell into the abyss. Numbers are our current mechanism helping us record the void. We gave them form so we can see them; whatever they are, whatever their definition.
And then, there’s a will, an uncontrollable desire to search and to stay curious. To look and look, into the macrospace, into the microspace, into whatever dualism you are “thinking” of. Your desire to order the universe which includes you as well is like a mission, a pursuit, a chase, Hell, Heaven, Samsara, you name it. We crave to know what is that only one One, the one true answer, the only choice, the only decision, the unity, the synchronicity, the non-duality, your belief, your reasoning. That one question ringing into our ears like an alarm on repeat: “The chicken or the egg or the chicken or the egg?” It’s not a bad thing, neither a good thing. It is non-duality, after all.
So, use your math and stop fighting over words. Define them well enough to socialize with your neighbours, but don’t fight over their definition. If you have the answer, it’s your answer. Keep it. If you want to share it, go ahead. Just don’t force it upon me. Your definition is your definition. But what we have in common is that we both tend to a definition: that only one One, that only true answer. We are heading there, relentlessly, we are in our pursuit, in our hunt, in our thirst to see it, to feel it, to experience it. This is why we should not follow definitions, but numbers. We should fable about their meaning, we should juggle with them, we should and we are painting the silhouette of that one One, that true answer. We reason and we compute, we solve equations, we ease our existence, we order and structure the world, we classify it, we categorize it, we give it shape, we give it meaning and by its meaning we live. The meaning we put into the universe reflects back on us, giving us that same meaning. So we create, we build, we do chores, we run errands and we participate to the game. We play and rage like a child upset at its parent. A rebellious teenager howling to the big red moon. We build. We are like bees, always on the run. We’re constantly doing something. Always here and there and everywhere; addicted to our own philosophy.
